Bedouin Burger BB – Bedouin Burger is a dynamic duo comprising Lebanese musician producer Zeid Hamdan and Syrian singer Lynn Adib. Their latest EP, BB EP, showcases their innovative blend of pulsating electronic beats and the captivating sounds of Levant folk and balladry.
Formed in 2020 during the pandemic, Bedouin Burger overcame challenges by collaborating remotely. The early songs, like “Taht el Wared” and “Ya Man Hawa,” carry the essence of those trying times, featuring intimate vocals from Adib and minimalistic production.
Relocating to Paris, Hamdan and Adib reunited in person to work on the EP. The resulting collection of five songs is a testament to their growth and the enhanced resources available in the new environment.
Hamdan, a pioneer of Arabic indie music, has been a trailblazer in Lebanon’s music scene. Adib, known for her ventures into Arabic jazz and soul, adds her unique touch to the duo’s sound.
By combining their talents, Bedouin Burger aspires to create a musical portrait of what it means to be an Arab today, rooted in tradition yet influenced by modern technology.
Their international and regional ties have already yielded significant achievements. They performed in the renowned Tiny Desk concert series organized by American radio channel NPR, as well as a captivating live concert recorded on KEXP in Seattle in August 2022.
